Tour description

In modern times, Torino was for over four centuries the kingdom of Savoy who bequeathed the majesty of historic buildings such as the Royal Palace, Palazzo Madama and Palazzo Carignano, and large squares such as Piazza Castello, Piazza San Carlo, Piazza Vittorio Veneto. During the visit you can admire the majestic Royal Palace with its sumptuous rooms and the amazing Royal Armoury. First capital of united in 1861, in the twentieth century Turin was the most important Italian industrial center, especially in the automotive field with Fiat. After a long period of post-industrial crisis, Torino today lives a renewed vigor, innovation and a new cultural and artistic fervor, dominated by the dome of the Mole Antonelliana,that attracts more and more tourists and visitors. The surroundings of Turin also offer many items of interest such as the circuit of Savoy residences (castles and royal residences) as the magnificent Basilica of Superga, beautifully situated atop a hill, hosts the precious royal tombs. A busy day discovering an unexpected Italian gem!

07:30 am departure from Piazza Duomo.
08:00 am departure from Central Station.
10:30 am arrival in Turin and meeting with a local tourist guide.
                Walking tour in the city center and visit of the Royal Palace.
01:00 pm free time for lunch.
                Optional visit to the Cinema Museum inside the Mole Antonelliana or ascent by elevator to the dome.
03:30 pm Trasfer by bus to Superga. Visit of the church and of the royal tombs. Enjoy the panorama on the city.
05:30 pm return by bus
07:30 pm arrival at Milan Duomo / Central Station
